TIRANA, July 27 /ATA/- The U.S. Department of State published the annual Trafficking in Person Report on Monday, highlighting that Albanian government is making significant efforts to fully comply with the standards for the elimination of trafficking in humans.
Albanian women and children, the report notes, are primarily subjected to sex trafficking in neighbouring countries, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Greece, and in other European countries.
Albanian and some foreign victims are subjected to forced labour in Albania, particularly in the tourism industry.
