The Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Tourist Agents declared that 2015 has been so far the heaviest year for Bulgarian tourism as of a decade. There was a 9 percent drop over the first 8 months of the year due to the decreased number of Russian and Ukrainian tourists. At the same time the European markets didn’t see any significant decline.
