Rabat – A young man from the town of Taounate, in northern Morocco, was sentenced to two years in prison in Fez for attacking two Eastern European tourists.
The suspect was charged with “attempted murder with premeditation,” of two tourists from Ukraine and Lithuania, according Moroccan daily Assabah in its Friday issue.
The Criminal Division of the Fez Court of Appels condemned the suspect last Monday to two years in prison and fine of MAD 1,000. The man has criminal record, police said.
