Ukrainian Paramilitaries Battle Separatists Near Donetsk

Volunteer paramilitary troops with the Azov, Shahtarsk, and Donbas battalions, along with Right Sector fighters, engaged in intense fighting with separatists forces on the outskirts of Ilovaysk, near the Ukrainian city of Donetsk. Despite the use of mortars, heavy guns, and small arms, the volunteers were unable to break through the separatists’ defenses on August 10. Six volunteers were killed and more than 10 were wounded.
