European Parliament voted on Thursday to adopt a mechanism that would make it quicker and easier to reintroduce visa regimes for countries that currently have visa free travel regimes. The mechanism was adopted in order to open the door for visa liberalization with Ukraine and Georgia, with immigrant skeptical countries insisting that the EU retains a way in which it could reintroduce visas. …read more
