On Friday, September 1, the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement entered into full force and effect, as foreseen by the respective statement earlier released by the EU.
The document comprises of two parts; the economic part foresees implementation of the free trade area, which already works since January 2017.
More than 3 years ago millions of Ukrainians came out to the squares requiring the government to sign this Agreement. Millions of Ukrainians defended their choice, Petro Poroshenko emphasized.
