Rapid Trident Military Exercises Under Way In Ukraine

More than 1,800 troops from 14 countries are taking part in U.S.-led military drills near the western Ukrainian city of Yavoriv. The Rapid Trident exercises, held each year since 1996, began on September 8 and run until September 23. The two-week drills are designed to test and build Ukraine’s interoperability with NATO allies and partners.
