Poroshenko Slams Separatist Vote

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called a meeting of top security officials to discuss next steps after Russian-backed separatists held elections. Speaking on November 3, he said the elections were a “farce” which violated a peace plan signed with Russia in the Belarusian capital Minsk.
