Former congressman Trey Gowdy dismantled an argument used by critics of the president to claim that he acted improperly by asking his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to seek evidence of corruption from Ukrainian officials.
Gowdy was speaking to Dana Perino on her Fox News show when she asked him about the claims against Giuliani.
“Rudy is not hard to find, and that is a knowable fact. Whether or not the State Department directed Mr. Giuliani, or whether or not somebody else did, or whether he did it on his own initiative,” Gowdy answered.
