ED BALLS TARGETS CASH-IN-HAND JOBS Ed Balls is launching an offensive on tax dodging cash-in-hand workers, says The Times. The shadow chancellor has told householders to get a receipt for every low-cost cash job by a gardener, cleaner or handyman because it is “the right thing to do”. However, he has been accused of being out of touch. Tory MP Peter Bone said: “There is an implication that everybody is out to fiddle their taxes. It is just wrong.”
