Animal lover Lyudmila Alexeeva often feeds the stray cats near her home in Sevastopol on the Crimean Peninsula, and one in particular who she named Zelonyy (or ‘Mr Green’) she had become quite close to.
However upon leaving her house last week Ms Alexeeva found Mr Green with a knife embedded in his head.
