TIRANA, April 3 /ATA/-By Gjergji Mima/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama attended Friday a ceremony commemorating the sixth anniversary of Albania’s accession to NATO.
Addressing the event, PM Rama said that this NATO accession anniversary comes at a time when Albania has great opportunities, while recalling that membership in the Alliance was unimaginable only few decades ago.
“Our deepest gratitude goes to the members of the North Atlantic Alliance, to their people and governments, who by opening doors to Albania gave our people the right to feel equal on a table where many global decisions are made,” Rama remarked.
