TIRANA, June 4 /ATA/- A meeting of deputy chiefs of Staff of Eastern European countries, members of SEDM (South Europe Defence Ministers) was held Thursday in Tirana.
Representatives from 12 SEDM member countries and two observer countries (Georgia and Ukraine) participate in this meeting, as well as the representative of USEUCOM, representative of the Regional Center for Security RACVIAC, SESAC/ UNDP, NATO and RCC.
As the host country, the meeting was opened by Albanian Deputy Minister of Defense, Petro Koci, who after welcoming the participants at the event, praised the SEDM initiative as successful and enduring, which has a well-structured legal basis, …read more
