Amnesty international has accused both sides of the conflict in Ukraine of committing war crimes.
The rights organization says both Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian militias have used torture against detainees. According to the report, almost all the interviewed detainees have complained of severe beatings, electric shock and being hung from the ceiling among other serious abuses. Amnesty’s Europe and Central Asia Program director said prisoners on both sides have suffered mock executions.
