ArmInfo. The subsequent 7th session of the World Association of Bulgarians on October 15-16 in Varna passed a declaration condemning the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in early 20th century.
According to the Foreign Ministry press-office, the declaration
defines it as a crime against humanity, a historical truth that
claimed 1 million 650 thousand lives.
That crime has no period of limitation, the document says. The
declaration will be submitted to the Bulgarian National Assembly in
near future.
Over two dozens of countries have recognized the Armenian Genocide.
The first country to recognize that crime against humanity was
