A recent spate of snatching incidents in the Capital have left Delhiites worried. After Ukrainian Ambassador to India, Dr Igor Polikha’s phone was snatched on Wednesday while taking a selfie near Red Fort on Wednesday, a journalist was attacked by two-wheeler borne snatchers near a police residential building in Mayur Vihar on Friday.
The victim, who had just moved to Delhi from Mumbai this week, was in a cycle rickshaw when she was targeted. She sustained injuries after she fell off the rickshaw while resisting the snatchers.
