Kiev, June 27: After braving a ransomware cyber attack few days before, Europe on Tuesday was hit by another cyber attack which compelled banks, hospitals and other institutions to stop operations. The gravity of the situation can be gauged from the fact the Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman called the cyber attack unprecedented in the history of the country. The ransomware ‘Petya’ also hit other European countries too. Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko said the attack affected the entire government systems including power grids and banks.
