Iran reiterated the call for the reinvigoration of international efforts to confront the threats posed by the Takfiri terrorists in the region. Head of Strategic Research Center of Iran’s Expediency Council said the Islamic Republic has always been one of the forerunners of the promotion of peace and stability in Asia.
Ali Akbar Velayati, who has traveled to China to participate in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), said during a meeting with the Chinese NGOs on Saturday that Iran plays an active role in attaining significant goals of CICA.
