Almost 1,300 people were killed in shelling by the Ukraine forces in the self-proclaimed Donetsk since the beginning of 2015, Donetsk office of human rights ombudsperson said on Sunday.
“Since the start of 2015, 1,287 people have died – 1,088 men and 199 women,” the office said. More than 1,100 people have been injured in DPR since the start of the year, Donetsk human rights office said citing reports by the DPR Center of urgent medical assistance, Donetsk News Agency reported.
Since the start of the armed conflict with Ukrainian forces, 5,061 people have been killed and 6,100 more injured.
