Poland and Lithuania are discussing plans for permanent stationing of US army equipment, officials from the two countries say, Press TV reported.
Following a report about storing the United States heavy weaponry in Baltic states in the backdrop of a crisis in Ukraine, the Polish Defense Ministry said in a tweet on Sunday that Warsaw was also in talks with Washington over the matter.
Polish Defense Minister Tomasz Siemoniak, who recently visited Washington, had been assured about a decision to station US army equipment warehouses in the Eastern European country.
