Ukrainian government forces and pro-Russian fighters have exchanged prisoners as part of a mid-February Minsk truce deal signed between the two warring sides.
According to Press TV, eleven pro-Russian fighters were also released in the swap which took place in the east of Ukraine.
The proceedings were overseen by both the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Some 8,000 people have been killed since the beginning of Ukraine’s conflict in April 2014.
