Call on the Mauritanian government to stop the trafficking of women workers to Saudi Arabia.

“In solidarity with these women, I urge your government to ensure:1. Safe repatriation free of cost to any workers;2. Payment of salaries and compensation;3. Suspension of the bilateral agreement until it is revised;4. Thorough investigation of the case and effective prosecution of any perpetrators.5. Ratification of the Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention and implementation of the roadmap to combat the vestiges of slavery.”
