The ministers of foreign affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan are working on the preparations of a possible meeting of the heads of state, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Deutsche Welle’s Russian service, Armenpress informed.
In answer to the question of the reporters what the meetings with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev brought, Pashinyan said: “This is only a preliminary process, conversations. Our formal talks on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh have not started yet, we simply meet, talk, exchange opinions on the processes, the history of negotiations. We did not expect any progress in the result of these contacts.”
