I am fighting for preventing division of the country to pieces, the president of Belarus Lukashenko stated, saying that his intention is to prevent division of “Belarus that rose from the rabbles of the USSR”, rather than power.
Nevertheless, Belarus is already divided, for now in terms of the political fight against Lukashenko though. In particular, several opposition activists, including Babariko, one of the female candidates for president Kolesnikova, announced about setting up the Together Party. Babariko who was arrested ahead of the presidential election is considered a pro-Russian activist. He is associated with Russia.
