The Kiev court has found the ex-president of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych guilty of treason and sentenced him in absentia to 13 years in prison, RIA Novosti informed. Yanukovych left Ukraine in 2014.
The examination of his case of treason started at the end of 2017. The counsel for the prosecution demanded a life sentence but later demanded 15 years in prison. Yanukovych himself does not plea guilty. …read more
