Lviv Gets Ukraine’s First Bike-Sharing Scheme

In the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, the first stations have been set up for a new bicycle-sharing scheme — the first of its kind in Ukraine. New bike lanes are also under construction, making Lviv the most bike-friendly city in the country. Local authorities plan to dramatically increase bike use, but admit they still have a long way to go before they reach the levels achieved in some Western European cities.
