Alexey Miller, the chief executive of the Russian Gazprom gas corporation, said that South Stream is definitely off the table, and the only new pipeline to divert Russian gas away from Ukraine will be the newly announced Turkish Stream. This pipeline, announced by President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Ankara, will bring 63 billion cubic meters of Russian gas to Turkey, underneath the Black Sea.
