Dispute over rules erupts on impeachment’s first full day


WASHINGTON — A rancorous dispute over rules marked the first full day of President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. After nearly 13 hours of debate over Democratic amendments, the rules for the trial were adopted unchanged in a party-line vote early Wednesday.
