Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has confirmed he will attend a meeting of NATO heads of state and government in Warsaw, Poland, on July 8 and 9 and will also make his first official visit to Ukraine on July 11 and 12.
A statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office Monday said Trudeau would travel to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland after the NATO summit to remember the “six million Jews and the millions of other victims who were brutally murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust.”
