Germans are more sceptical about EU sanctions against Russia over Ukraine than French or British citizens, according to a poll conducted by the UK firm, ICM Research in Germany, France and the United Kingdom in December.
Over half of German citizens, 54 percent, believe that sanctions imposed by the West on Russia have negatively affected hopes for a conflict settlement.
