THE Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 crash report released on Tuesday night confirms what many already know — that the plane was hit by a Russian-made BUK missile fired from rebel-held territory in eastern Ukraine. But the report by the Dutch Safety Board did not apportion blame and the burning question is, who was behind it? Finding the answer to that question is the job of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) whose members include authorities from Malaysia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ukraine and Australia.
