Patriot, a store that sells symbols of Ukrainian heritage in Odessa, Ukraine, was destroyed in an explosion Tuesday night. The Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Odessa region opened a criminal investigation into the explosion on the grounds that it was an “act of terrorism.” It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack, and no group has yet claimed responsibility. Odessa is a coastal town in southern Ukraine on the Black Sea, far removed from Eastern Ukraine.
