Foreign minister Augusto Santos Silva had a working visit to Moscow on Monday in which a renewed agreement on economic collaboration with Russia was firmly on the table. Talking to Lusa, Santos Silva says he hopes a deal can be concluded “even this year” as there is much that can be achieved, despite ongoing sanctions imposed by Europe due to Russia’s occupation of the Crimea and “events in the Ukraine”.
