A number of NATO members and their allies are staging large-scale military exercises in Europe, amid ongoing tensions with Russia.
The drills, which involve thousands of troops, are taking place in Estonia, Lithuania and Norway. Forces from the United States, Britain, Germany, Latvia and Poland are participating in the exercises. The wargames include anti-submarine and cyber security exercises. They’re taking place as Russia is preparing for World War Two Victory Day parades on May 9.
