Bulgaria could possibly look for a deal with Russia over the passage of one of the Turkish Stream pipes through its territory, Russian expert Konstantin Simonov argued in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio. He is head of the National Energy Security Fund in Russia. Simonov compared the current situation to the winter of 2009 when Bulgaria saw interruption of Russian gas supplies via Ukraine.
