PM Boyko Borissov announced that on 21 February Sofia would be hosting a high-level meeting of the European Union energy ministers and Energy Commissioner Maros Sefcovic. In the context of Russia’s decision to suspend the South Stream project Borissov voiced hopes that Bulgaria would remain part of the Russian gas transit route to Europe.
