On 12 March 2018 the Council of EU extended by further six months, i.e. by 15 September 2018, the validity of restrictive measures prompted by actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. Measures include freezing of assets and travel restrictions. They continue to apply for 150 individuals and 38 formations. On behalf of Bulgaria the resolution of the Council of EU to extend sanctions was signed by Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov. …read more
