Bulgaria has given citizenship to 914 citizens from countries outside the European Union. This is what the latest data from the European Statistical Office Eurostat, released today shows, referring to 2017. Most Bulgarian passports were issued to Ukrainian citizens – 204, followed by Russians – 174 and Turks – 110. By comparison, the biggest number of recipients of citizenship in the EU are citizens of Morocco, Albania, India and Turkey.
