In 2014 five Russians received Bulgarian citizenship in exchange of investments to the tune of EUR 500,000 each, as required by this country’s legislation, bTV reports. The volume of Russian corporate investments in Bulgarian economy over the past 10 years has been nearly USD 2 bln.
