From January to end of May Bulgarian passports have been issued to 2 953 foreign nationals, the Ministry of Justice informs. By tradition, the largest number of foreigners asking for Bulgarian identity papers is from Macedonia, Ukraine and Moldova. The tendency remains for a decline in the number of ban passports granted. In 2014 they were 5 429 persons, while in 2013 – more than 8 thousand. The peak was registered in 2011, when 18 000 persons have received Bulgarian passports. …read more
