The Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Benedetto Della Vedova is paying a visit to Sofia today. The programme of the visit envisages consultations with his Bulgarian counterpart, Deputy Foreign Minister Rumen Alexandrov. The two are to discuss illegal immigration; Bulgaria’s joining the Schengen area, the fight against terrorism as well as the crisis in Ukraine. Within the frame of the visit the guest will also meet Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov and with Deputy Premier for EU Funds and economic policy Tomislav Donchev. …read more
