Yusef Sbaai and Reduan Nouini, Morocco won the 37th edition of the Sofia marathon, crossing the finish line together. The two also set a new record for this race course, clocking 2 hours, 13 minutes and 3 seconds. Still, after a photo finish Yusef Sbai was declared winner of the race.
