Kyiv’s oldest movie theatre, the Zhovten cinema dating from 1931, was gutted by fire after an incendiary smoke bomb was thrown during a film shown as part of a series of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) movies. Firefighters were cleaning the wreckage on October 30, following the attack the previous evening. No-one was injured.
