“WHY don’t you influence me, then?” I asked a Russian diplomat engaged in Asian affairs, after “an unnecessary discussion” about my column in The Malaysian Reserve.
I mean, it is easy to just find fault in anyone’s work, but it is not as easy to pick the right subject when you begin to piece your column, especially one that is of the interest to my Malaysian readers.
