Once-secret accounting documents of Ukraine’s pro-Kremlin party were released on Friday, purporting to show payments of $12.7 million earmarked for Donald Trump’s campaign chairman.
A news agency reported earlier this week that Paul Manafort helped Ukraine’s Party of Regions secretly route at least $2.2 million to two Washington lobbying firms. Manafort told Yahoo News that the news agency’s account was wrong.
