Corbyn gives top job to defeated rival Burnham
Jeremy Corbyn, elected Labour leader at the weekend, has named his front bench, with the plum jobs all going to men. Rival candidate Andy Burnham is to be shadow home secretary and Corbyn’s campaign manager John McDonnell is to be shadow chancellor. The other leadership candidates, both women, ruled themselves out.
