Obama warns 9/11 bill is a ‘mistake’
US president Barack Obama has warned that the decision by Congress to override his veto of a bill which will allow Americans to sue nations for acts of terrorism – opening the gates to litigation against Saudi Arabia over the 9/11 attrocity – is a mistake. Obama said the bill would set a dangerous precedent for foreign nationals to sue the US.
