Violence erupted inside Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday after an opposition leader was accused of working for the Kremlin.
Ukraine’s relationship with Russia has fraught with complication and controversy since time immemorial. During the Stalin era, many Ukranians hated Russia so intensely that many Ukranians joined the advancing German army during Operation Barbossa.
In fairness to the Ukranians, the Russians under Stalin had forcibly starved tens of millions of Ukranians to death prior to that point.
