U.S. Ambassador to NATO Douglas Lute has said that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is expected to conduct more tasks in Afghanistan and that the alliance has yet to complete its mission in Afghanistan.
This comes as alliance leaders gather in Warsaw for a two day crucial meeting set to discuss NATO security by bolstering its own deterrence and defense including the situation in Afghanistan.
Speaking before the Atlantic Council in Washington, Lute said that NATO intends to conduct more work in Afghanistan in years to come to complete NATO’s mission effectively.
