The assistant UN secretary-general for human rights says more than 8,000 people, including civilians, were killed in the Ukrainian conflict since it was broke out in April 2014.
“As of today, at least 8,050 people have been killed since the outbreak of hostilities in Eastern Ukraine in mid-April 2014. This includes Ukrainian armed forces, civilians and members of the armed groups, and is a conservative OHCHR estimate.
